The kit uses a background of pre-printed cotton fabrics for you to use as a guide for your stitches and is designed to be embroidered in the provided 10cm wooden embroidery hoop. Also provided is the backing cloth, 4 fabric pieces, silver metallic yarn, seed beed trim, felt piece and all stranded embroidery threads (including a beautiful silver metallic thread). A step-by-step A5 guide booklet and paper templates have also been provided to help you create your own piece of artwork layer by layer.
This is a perfect project for beginners right the way through to advanced stitchers as it uses very basic stitches (back stitch, seed stitch, straight stitch) and includes diagrams on how to execute them. When you have your confidence in the embroidery you can move on to french knots and bullion knots for added texture! Diagrams and tips will help you along the way.
