Lace is a wonderful way to add texture to your embroidery work. It creates a sense of perspective to a landscape piece by pushing back the fabric layers behind it and adding a boundary, and is a great way to quickly edge a rough cut fabric.
This beautiful cotton lace is from Stephanoise (French!) and has almost a repeating oval leaf or sunburst design within the weave. The top is more solid with large arches underneath and it feels wonderfully soft to the touch.
The colour is silver/grey, it is made from 100% Cotton and comes in at 1.5cm wide.
Sold in 3 metre pre-cut bundles (price shown is for 3 metres of lace). Bundles are simply tied with leftover embroidery threads.
